Yesterday Is Just A Memory

Yesterday is just another memory. Whatever happened in the past is in the past. The good, the bad, the ugly. Another wasted day perhaps. You can’t change the past. Only shape the future.

What does the future hold for you?

You can change the future. Everything you do can have an impact. Much like one of my favorite movies “The Butterfly Effect”. I won’t go into detail of Chaos Theory. I have always believed in it before I knew what it was. I used to think of life as one of those pick your adventure books I read as a child. You chose your path through the story. Unlike those books, in life you can’t go back when you don’t like the ending.

If life was so easy.

Depending on your current situation. You are able to choose a path of self-destruction or you may make things in life better for yourself. For the greater good I think everybody should choose the latter. If you are struggling in life it may take some time but you can make an improvement. It won’t happen overnight. You can do it though.

Those memories of yesterday will fade.

Immerse yourself in things you enjoy. Talk to somebody. You don’t have to wait for them to make the effort. If you wait it may never happen. People are weird that way.

Even if yesterday was the best day in your life, cherish that memory. Don’t hold on to it for dear life though. If it was the greatest thing that ever happened it may be hard to accept the mediocre days ahead.

I think I’ll keep it short today.

I of course don’t want to forget my shameless plug again.
